A Leicestershire based freight haulage firm is using pioneering technology to ensure safe deliveries and premium customer service as the UK enters a recovery phase after the easing of COVID-19 restrictions .
MSD says the advanced technology – developed by the Palletforce express distribution network – will also help to keep staff and customers safe in the battle against the virus.
A member of Palletforce now for 2 years, MSD is one of over 100 leading UK hauliers across the network to benefit from a suite of systems known as the Technology Trident.
This includes Palletforce’s unique Alliance Sense product, which features artificial intelligence technology and neural learning to solve delivery problems before they happen, improving customer service and cutting down on waste and mileage around redeliveries.
Meanwhile ePOD2 handheld devices remove the need for any contact and paperwork during the delivery process. Featuring imaging software, live tracking and live location capture, they ensure quick, safe and clean contactless deliveries and full electronic proof of delivery notifications.
And Pallet Selfie technology provides instant imaging, reducing damages and again cutting interaction between delivering driver and customer.
