MSD is a multi award winning family run business with second generation members established in senior management positions based in Leicestershire. A UK & European Storage & Distribution Company that offers complete transport & warehousing solutions for businesses across the East Midlands. From our new site in Leicestershire 2023 a dedicated fit for purpose transport & warehousing secure site with 150,000sqf.

MSD was formed in 1996 as Mitchell Transport and later as a limited company in 1998 as Mitchell Storage & Distribution (MSD) Ltd. First starting out as a van courier haulier and later moving in to networking with a national courier network for parcel shipments nationwide.
From building years of networking and time critical experience we were offered a lucrative partnership & joined t he Fortec Distribution Network in November 2007 as it’s Leicestershire Depot. MSD became the largest freight inputting by volume depot of the network and were then moving forward in business strategy to move together in member partnership with a large well known brand and joined Palletforce, the UK’s leading pallet network. This has given MSD massive quality in it’s delivery service as well as expanding it’s reach across the country as being part of one of the fastest growing Pallet Distribution Networks which enables us to be your leading Leicestershire Transport company.
Companies find MSD’s services more cost effective than most couriers out there, because we now carry for many large and efficient business’s in our area, it gives us significant buying power within our parcel and pallet nationwide networks with whom we work with. Which we then of course can pass that on to our customers. Coupled together with storage facilities which takes consignments of up to 10,0000 pallets plus trailer loading and unloading, pick, pack and dispatch. MSD has also now been audited and approved by a worldwide trans-Atlantic blue chip multi million pound client to whom we now boast as our mantra for how we operate. Clients can check the progress of their package either online or by phone. For regular users of MSD’s services can have tracking software installed on their company’s computers. Installation is free as is the training which MSD provides to familiarise the customer with the easy-to-use software.
