Communication is the key to a successful relationship

MSD (depot 274 of the Fortec Pallet Network) has relocated the customer services offices within the company and is now situated in the same block as the transport operations team. This is should bring a more fluid and effective line of communication between the 2 departments. The move has coincided with MSD investing in new technology and has acquired a brand new VoIP phone system with BT.

This allows the company to be able to transfer all calls between every user without having to ask our customers and member depots to call a different phone number. Also, MSD will benefit from full call recording and a powerful analytics tool which will enable the business to enhance the services and deal with higher call volumes during busy periods of the day.

Our transport operation is contactable on 0116 2604080 where all of the members’ consignments are managed whereas, the customer services operation is contactable on 0116 2605451 where you can report any issues that you are having with an MSD consignment.

Along with the office relocation, MSD has added extra warehouse space to bring in house some transport contracts where the full logistics solution can be managed in one place.
